Lakeside Math Department Leader: Ms. Lain Daniels

 

The Mathematics Department is committed to helping students build strong mathematical foundations, develop problem-solving skills, and grow as confident mathematical thinkers. Throughout 6th, 7th, and 8th grade, students deepen their understanding of concepts including number sense, proportional reasoning, expressions and equations, geometry, statistics, and real-world applications of mathematics. Our teachers provide engaging learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, communicate their reasoning, make connections, and persevere through challenging problems. As students progress through middle school, our goal is to prepare them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed for success in high school mathematics and beyond.
