GARDENING CLUB

The Gardening Club gives students hands-on opportunities to apply STEM concepts through planning, planting, maintaining, and harvesting a school garden. Members will build leadership, teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while taking ownership of garden projects. The club will also promote community service by growing produce for local food pantries, creating flower bouquets for the school, and supporting pollinators with native gardens. In addition, gardening provides social-emotional benefits by reducing stress, improving focus, building confidence, and fostering friendships in a positive outdoor environment.
