VEX Robotics allows students to build and design robots each year in order to accomplish a specific task. Students are encouraged to work as a team as they come up with creative solutions while problem solving those designed tasks. Robot builds MUST be designed and built by the students. Parents and teachers may assist, but they are not meant to take over the build. The robots must be made from VEX parts and are controlled with a remote. Students are encouraged to keep a journal during their build as this is part of the competition as well.
